vul vs non-vul, RHO opens as dealer

My reasoning for 4S: if opps have H, partner should have something in S.
Now I think that I shouldnt have entered the bidding: 5th J and vul, just suicide-trip. X instead of 4S also seems too dangerous with 3-3 in minors. Last option: immediate bid after 2H, but again 5th J, 3-3 in minors, and vul..
Nevertheless, I am looking forward to feedback.
btw: 5Hx one off, and LHO had AKxxx in S

The way you have this is that your partner bid 5H. Clearly it was your rho. Your rho is a beginner to pull the x of 4S. The 4S bid is very poor. As the 2H bid showed 6H, even Qx and outside cards are enough for a making 4H bid. There is no reason whatsoever why your partner needs to have S support. IF you were going to bid at all, you would have been better off bidding 3S over 3H. This is not a great bid either, but is far better than your 4S bid.

As the hog says, 4H doesn't show a great fit, and is often a doubleton heart with a good hand instead of four hearts and a poor one. I think you either bid 2S over 2H (my choice) or just pass throughout.
