I don't like 1NT with the north hand at all. Did you notice that it contains a singleton and a 5-card suit? What's the hurry to get to NT?

I think it'd likely start double 2C 3S splinter, but N might just try 3NT, assuming the opponents don't bid.

All I can do now is bid 3 and if pard bids the expected 3nt, I am passing but would bid 4 if it was imps instead of MP's

BTW, I would make a free 3 bid on the other auction. It's worth a solid 2 1/2 on this one but you can't go past 3nt at MP's lightly.

Given that p showed not much live, I dont think 1 stopper will be
enough to make 3NT, so I will make an invite towards 5C.
3C is just competitive, so 4C it is.
