I agree. No reason to get cute. White games at imps show a profit at anywhere near 50% successful. 3nt is just wrong with at least 8 hearts and 2 short suits.

This should be a push.

I assume that the previous posts intend to sign off in game.

If you play both Jacoby transfers (2-level transfers) and Texas transfers (4-level transfers) then you should Texas, as a Jacoby transfer followed by a game bid is a mild slam try (at least, it is for most players). This hand does not merit a mild slam try.

I agree with bidding game in hearts by whatever means the partnership has at its disposal, without making any other forward going move.

I'll do whatever we agreed to let partner play 4. If partner has 5 we may end up in the wrong contract, but you need very specialized agreements which aren't worth the sacrifice imo.
