our openings are 11-14 or 18-22 so we dont need to use 2C as strength showing bid but we need to use it as transfers. 1Nt is complete relay (1S--2Y isnt forcing), our setup is

2C = 4D 11-14 or GF
2D= 4H 11-14 or GF
2H= 6S 11-14 or GF
2S = S+C 11-14

2nt and higher S+C GF

But we sometimes miss game when opener has 3H --63(31)--5341,5134 and responder 5H and 10-11 pts, and we miss M fit when we open 1Nt with 5S(332)

So we are thinking of

2C---?? (2C = 4D or 3H)

2D preference (can be 2532)
2H art GF
2S preference

2C-2D
??

2H = i have 3H
2S+ = GF S+D.

2C-2D
2H--??

2S i have 2S 4D but not 4H
2Nt = 1354
3C = 1345

the problems hands are

1354 1354 vs especially a 6322. Where will will play 2nt/3m without extra values.

But we will play 2H when responder has 4H and 1S and opener has 3H. And we will miss less game when responder has 5H and a borderline hand. It will allow us to open 1S with 5332,5323 (but not 5233)
From Psych "I mean, Gus and I never see eye-to-eye on work stuff.
For instance, he doesn't like being used as a human shield when we're being shot at.
I happen to think it's a very noble way to meet one's maker, especially for a guy like him.
Bottom line is we never let that difference of opinion interfere with anything."
