I guess han agrees.

Whoops yes, it's GCC illegal. Just like transfer Walsh and transfers in competition, correct?
Transfers are OK over doubles. Transfers are OK after we overcall.
Eventually transfers over overcalls will be GCC, as well treatments like 'switch'.
Change occurs slowly.

I think I need clarification. In neither thread is the minor suit opened specified.
Is 2C the other minor, or the same minor opened? Was Han saying it doesn't matter and that 2C is a convention?
Is 2C also a convention when it has gone 1m (1s)? Or does the structure have to change when 1S/1H or the neg x double after 1H overcall is used to deny spades?

Sorry about creating confusion. I meant (and pretty sure Han, too, meant) to discuss the sequence
1♣-(1♥)-?
where 2♣ is a limit+ raise of clubs. 2♦ is forcing and natural here, as in standard.
Han didn't specify but I think you can play 1♦-(1♥)-2♦ as a limit+raise, too. I see no reason at the moment not to.

... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

Ok. On the inverted raises in competition, we use them also; and it is not really affected by the neg double vs. 1S thing. Actually, we have available two lr+ minor suit raises: the inverted natural raise with a heart stopper and 2H without.

Bummer. I guess that leaves us with 1m (1♥) 1♠ =4or5
At least you will retain double as a flexible call instead of using it to show any hand with 4 spades and the strength to respond.
