Using Modified Precision, I'm looking at the possibilities of this auction:

1D (4+ diamonds, 11-15 hcp, not balanced may be 6322. This is a given).
---1S (4+ spades, not 4 hearts (could be 5 if 5 spades), 8+ (or so) HCP. This too is a given)
------1NT (<3 spades (almost always singleton), <6 diamonds, full 11-15 count)

The next bids by responder include:
2D: Non-forcing, shows 4 diamonds, asks opener to bid on with a max but not above 3D.
2C: Used for all other invitational hands, as well as GF hands.
2S/3C/3D- Signoff.

After 1D-1S-1NT-2C, the responses look something like this:
2D- Weak (11-13) with 5 diamonds.
2H- Weak with 4 hearts and 4 diamonds (0-4-4-5 or 1-4-4-4).
2S- Strong with spade void.
2NT- Strong without spade void.
3C- Weak with 1-3-4-5 distribution.

2nd level inquiry after 2D/2H/2S is 2NT, 2nd level inquiry after 2NT is 3D.

General opinions? Anybody play something similar?

I guess you play kind of weak NT in your Precision, therefore 1D can be used to show genuine D and unbalanced hand.

I don't like the inv+ 2C asking bid and its follow up:

1. As opener shows his strength by rebidding 2S/2NT, probably the continuation is FG, however it may cause difficulty for responder to clarify his intention (game try, FG and wants to explore, slam try) as the level is quite high, while the trump is not set and his strength is still unlimited. Btw, locating heart fit may be tricky (both 4-4 fits and 5-3 fits possible)

2. The continuation after 3C rebid can be a mess, as responder may want to sign off holding invitational values, while sometimes he wants to force at 3 level holding good hand.

Can you try a two way checkback structure?
2C puppet to 2D, a possible sign off, or inv values.
2D constitute FG, asking for description.
I guess it is easy to play, and maybe an improvement.
