South is declarer in a ♠ contract. the three final cards are (West innmaterial):



North leads the ♠2, East plays the ♠4, and South wins the ♠J!!!!!

Now South concede a trick to the ♠Q. Dummy knows than East has the
♠Q and a ♥, and she wants the two tricks, and calls the TD.....

Obiously there is no other way to lose the ♠Q than play ♥ and ruff with the A. But is it a normal play??

I think it is a very poor way, but irrational? No.
