I pass. I am not bidding my AKJxx or AQTx suit over pd's 5 if thats the question. If the questions was to consider slam, i dont see how i can possibly figure if we are losing 2 tricks or not.

Pd is allowed to hold something like xx Kxx x KJxxxxx/KQxxxxx

Agree with Timo. I would add that most of the time the opponents have nine trumps. Partner might have bid 3N with good clubs and a spade stopper. Partner sounds like K + KQxxxx.

Partner chose 5C, not a S-short, up try.

Partner did not choose 3 directly over 2. Another thread about 2/3 months ago covered partner having a long suit and possible slam interest in a similar context.

Leben, anti-leben, and 4C were all available to pard, I assume.

All this leads to the same as everyone else ---PASS.
