Definitely. Win in dummy and play a club up. Then a heart to knock out E's entry, and it's a simple matter to endplay West in the black suits one way or the other.

Ok. Now lets say you opened the North hand 12-14 1NT, and east x'd which west said was a penalty dbl of a strong NT.

Does this change what you'll do?

No, because you have presented it as a double dummy problem which makes the auction irrelevant.

Or was the original question "how would you play this single dummy" in which case you should have said so?
