Is playing 1nt 15-17 with a 5 card major suit, a better style for 2/1system or SAYC system.
Just want to hear some opinions on this please

There are 3 sorts of people:
- the ones who never open 1NT with a 5 card M
- the ones who open 1NT only with a poor 5 card M
- the ones who open 1NT with any 5 card M (like me)
It's a matter of preference really, and I think it solves a lot of unnecessary bidding problems by opening all 5332's with 1NT, even with the best 5 card M possible.
