I would pass. 1H at MPs is certainly conceivable, but it is not my style. Unlike Frances, I can easily imagine that 1H will often lead to a good result, for example by directing a good lead or making life difficult for the opponents when partner raises.

Double doesn't seem reasonable.
Please note: I am interested in boring, bog standard, 2/1.
