I guess it is best to double (T/O). Bidding 2 could be done on lesser 5-5 Majors hands, and less suited for defense than this hand.
Double tells partenr, you have a real good hand, suitable for defense, probably (almost sure) a 4 card and 5 spades. Without fit, and with some he can pass.
Double is really descriptive here..... far the best bid....

Correction:

I guess it is best to double (T/O). Bidding 3 could be done on lesser 5-5 Majors hands, and less suited for defense than this hand.

I thought my hand was AKJxxx AKxx AJx -, I think 4 is probably enough now, no way partner can have exactly what we need

Still not right, double has a strong 6331 tendency, 5431 is possible of course, but in general I estimate 3 hearts is about 2 times more likelly than 4.
