I think it would be in most partnerships who played splinters in other sequences

I would interpret 3♠ to be splinter, especially in a no-competive auction.
Here's a question for the experts...how do you define 2♠? is that equal length in the majors looking for 4351, or is it looking for a spade stopper for 3NT?

3♠ would be a splinter, but since I can't see a slam opposite 1♣ - 1♥ - 2♥ I won't use one here.
2♠ needs agreement, without any it shows a long suit trial (so simply natural and game try). I play that it asks for distribution (responses: singleton, 5422 or balanced).
