Doesn't matter if it is with a pickup partner because its usefulness is so stunted since no one agrees on many of the followups.

The world would be such a happy place, if only everyone played Acol :) --- TramTicket

Yes, and the SAYC booklet specifies the followups.

yes but as others mentioned, dont assume people play it on bbo unless its on their profile. then the follow ups are anyone's guess.

I'm well aware that most people who claim to play SAYC actually don't, if SAYC is defined by the ACBL's booklet. OTOH, there's a lot of "words mean what I want them to mean" in this. Bottom line is any prospective partner tells you he wants to play "SAYC", make sure you're both on the same page as to what that means.

Sure,
the ACBL SAYC should be considered as the standard.
and it has Jacoby + answers in it.

I don't think that the compulsatory Convention Card in Individual Tourneys is ACBL SAYC.
What is it ? Where can I find a description of that BBO SAYC ?

Yes but that doesn't mean you don't need to disucss follow ups with your partner, there is no one method followed by everyone.
