Scoring: IMP

Bidding
P-P-2-p
2-p-2-p
4-p-?

2 Diamond shows 3-7 hcp ; more if it is a balanced hand; if 3 hcp must have K; confirms game.
After 4 spades would you try for a slam ?How?

Pass, p had the more encouraging 3S available, he did bid 4S.

He wont have the Ace of diamonds, so we need him to cover the
heart looser and the club looser.

With kind regards

Partner probably has 4 Jacks or 2 Queens or some poor combination of 1 Queen and some Jacks. I don't like jumping in such auctions, because you still have frivolous/serious 3NT available after 3. The only reason to jump is to show the worst possible hand you can have without a single trick. So I'd just pass.

Even with the 2 queens we have work o do, I'd pass because there is no 5 level safety, but at a lower level I'd try something.
