From Psych "I mean, Gus and I never see eye-to-eye on work stuff.
For instance, he doesn't like being used as a human shield when we're being shot at.
I happen to think it's a very noble way to meet one's maker, especially for a guy like him.
Bottom line is we never let that difference of opinion interfere with anything."

Yes 1♥ shows values. Nominally around 6-9 hcp with four hearts.
I bid 2♥ with more hearts but I am not sure that is standard.

True but I know Standard American and what better reason could I have for playing Precision? - Hideous Hog

Yeah shows values, but not necessarily as many as 6. I prefer to play 2H exactly as without the 1D bid.
and the result can be plotted on a graph.

KJxx and a hint of a feature (a singleton, or a jack somewhere) is enough for 1H. 2H is the same as without 2♦ but I guess sometimes you can downgrade for something like QJx in diamonds.
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

I'd bid 1♥ with hearts and anything resembling an excuse.
2♥ would require a 5-bagger in my wiew, and 6 good hcp.
Playing X as diamonds seems a little silly here, 4-4 in the majors would be better.
Come to think of it, I can hardly believe how ell placed we are, if our agreements are in place.
(Yet, I cannot remember ever having seen the sequence.)

Ole would you also play x of 1♦-x-2♣ as 4-4 in the majors? It looks like there you are in bigger problems with 44 there since you have less room. Opps psyching in both cases seems very unlikely to be sure.
