In my opinion, this is such an obvious bid over 4S that you could even justify it had partner hesitated.

IMO: You should not define Michaels as "weak or strong". Nor should it be a generous gesture to opponents to help them declare double-dummy. Both Michaels and Unusual Notrump should express a strong desire to play the hand at the prevailing form of scoring and vulnerability. Here pass is OK too and

Just because 5♥ is a fine result doesn't mean YOU will have to bid it immediately. Doesn't partner get to take another bid? How would you feel if you bid 5♥ and partner raises to 6, only to find being -1?
