Nothing pops up when I click on the robot partner's bids.
Is anyone having the same difficulty?

Suggestion - in bidding room when rotating the hands 180 degrees randomly, rotate the dealer as well. Sometimes we do want to practice the same hands with different dealers, but it is more common to want to know a particular hand is dealing in relation to the hands (practicing Drury e.g.).
Thanks,
Dan
It is supposed to work that way already (at least in the web-client which I think you are referring to).
I just did a simple test and it seemed to work for me. I constrained South to hold 7+ spades, constrained none of the other hands, set South to be the only possible dealer, and selected the option formally known as "switcheroo". Then I clicked Redeal several times. Sometimes South had long spades, sometimes North had long spades, but whoever held long spades was always the dealer.
If you try again and if you are still think it is not working properly, but let me know the details and I will take a closer look.

There was a small bug in this area that will be fixed in the next version.
For now make sure your mouse is pointed near the center of the bid in question. If you mouse is pointed at the left part of the bid, in some cases the web-client will not respond properly.

I join a "pending" team game that has some empty seats, and I sit in one of the seats. But the "Back" button is greyed out and I cannot then seem to leave the seat or TG without logging out of BBO.
Other players I see are able to come and go, and several others sat and subsequently left because they got bored waiting for the empty seats to fill. How did they do that?
Also it may add to clutter and not have an obvious benefit, but I for one would like to be able to see in a window who is at the other TG table, even when I am not the TG host/TD. Maybe this is the wrong thread for that suggestion. (I think this is another feature that is available in the Windows client but not the Web version)

1. Keyboard entry.
2. Keyboard entry.
3. Keyboard entry... Mouse sometimes is really tiring to use.
4. When checking the comparative tables in movie, I can see the first lead card played. So I can get a rough idea how/why the final result may have come about differently from our table.
5. I cannot see the kibbitzers.
6. Connectivity status is not known so sometimes, wait times increase.
7. I can kibbitz all hands when I am dummy so I know likely result. Then at least I can check my e-mail in the meantime to show some work being done

8. Lobby chat - I know this is not there, but it is useful to get players.
9. I cannot set options for not always being S, while the comparative hands are different. So each time to check the hand played, I need to figure out where I am at a table. I am not too sure I explained that properly, though.
Probably somebody can point me to the right way to get things done in the browser based version.
The positive is it is platform / OS independent and one can see the number of logins of a player.

Can you please explain how? I click other tables in the web/browser version, but it does not show/highlight the lead. Is there a way to see how the entire hand is played at other tables?

Right now I can see the board number, total point and imp scores just fine, but the contract/result are truncated. Seems like the board # and the IMP score columns could easily be made narrower and the result column wider.

While I do not know the exact algorithm being used, space is allocated based on the width of the tabbed space, and I'm not so sure it would be easy to make just one field within that space bigger. If for some reason the user cannot make the tabbed space bigger, I am not sure what else Fred could do, other than perhaps being able to see the result fullsize as a popup if the user were to point the cursor on the result field.
As an aside, I glanced at my version of BBO when I was playing with the tabbed space, and noticed we are now at V40. Guess this thread is obsolete now.

Keyboard support is something I would really like to add, but unfortunately this is a lot more difficult than you might think (because the browser tends to interfere and because different browsers interfere in different ways).
Can you please tell me the context(s) in which you really care about this? Is it mostly about being able to use the keyboard to specify the bids/plays you want to make?
About lobby chat, I very much doubt that we will ever add this to the web-client, but we are thinking about creating some automated facilities that accomplish the only potentially useful thing about lobby chat ("need 1").

Using the keyboard is so much easier in general from convenience, fatigue, carpal tunnel, you name it. Using the mouse all the time to select click is very tiring over a length of time. Also in my case at least with keyboard entry I make fewer 'misclicks'.
All in all there is good improvement in the web flash based client, but so many small aspects of your windows program are missing, that prevents me from 'upgrading'. It is more a downgrade for me. I can also see which players have gone offline just in the chat window (their name turns a different colour). In the web client I have no idea whether the player just left the table or BBO. I also found your browser based flash version to be very sensitive to ISP connection glitches. The windows program does seem to handle the glitches better by not logging me off and even if it does, it takes me back in a blink to the table where I was, without me needing to go through the login process.
So far the windows program is working through my upgrade to Windows 7 quite flawlessly, so probably I am ok for a few more years, even if you do not make any changes to it and as long as you allow it to run in parallel.
Believe me, I tried - for a couple of months - to only use the browser based BBO, but I have gone back to the program finally.

How about a button that the host, or another player at the table can click, asking for a player, but there should be options need 1 adv, or need 1 exp, etc...
I have said before that i have trouble finding seats with the webbrowser, because it does not refresh by itself.
Some times tho, i can find an empty spot in time and then discover the host is only accepting experts.
so it could be nice if the host could set the skill level he is prepared to acceept, maybe those tables could even be invisible to those who do not qualify.
thanks

Is something buggy about logging on invisible? I was on visible and someone I have tagged as friend logged on invisible and when I said hi she asked how I knew she was on. I got the the "just logged on" message but if I looked on the friends list she was not there and if I put her name in the "find member" she was offline. Later someone messaged to the club she was leaving, a moment later she came back on (I do that sometimes wondering what the table I just left is doing) and she was offline in the "find member". Seems as if there might be a bug that sends a message to the web users that you are on-line even if you logged on invisible. Hope that makes sense.

It used to be that Ctrl-C, Ctrl-V, Ctrl-X (or the Mac equivalents Apple CVX) did what was expected. Now you need to right click the mouse and select copy, paste, etc. from the popup menu.
Worse, than that!!!
You can end up pasting from the clipboard from what ever your last successful copy or cut was, which was NOT what you thought you had just done!
Noticed this at least a month ago. Sorry it took so long to get around to reporting it.
