Maybe. It can travel in space, but it's primarily a time machine. Kind of like Gay Deceiver, from Heinlein's The Number of the Beast, although Gay started out as a triphibian car - ground, water, air. She wasn't designed for travel in vacuum, she had to be modified for that. OTOH, she had to be pretty heavily modified for Jake's Time Twister device anyway. There's also Dora, from the same author (several books), but Dora was originally designed as a starship - the Time Twister was added later.
