Doubling & Cue bids

I would like to hear opinions on top & bottom cue bids.

Also if they open a minor how would you show majors using top & bottom
cue bids?

Would playing that a double of a minor always shows top 2 [ should have opening bid?]
or might one use equal level conversion.

Opinions please.
