As little as D:Kx has play for 6C. Bid up.
Likely doubled in 5m so less urgency to slam this hand.
I try 5C now.

I would bid 4, partner's pass is a gigantic warning sign. I doubt he has more than 3 minor cards, likely even fewer. It is posible that with my two aces I should be thinking about defending, but RHO heard the pass too and still bid 3, so I will bid on.

Is this the parent hand from the Interesting Bridge Hands forum:

pass a forcing bid?

Perhaps the lesson here is to be greatful Opponent "saved" you when partner passed your Un2NT .

I mean you have to bid again you're 6-7. But the pass is a huge warning, 4 is plenty.

Then again the more I think about it maybe pass is right, partner for sure has 11+ cards in the majors. Ugh don't know if I could bring myself to pass but I admire anyone who does.

5 is LOLOL.

Torn between 4N and 5N first round. Thoughts? Ideas?

Not 5NT when one of the suits is so bad, although at this vul maybe it's worthwhile to just jack it up that much. 4NT seems good though.

Who bids like this? We have just announced the world's worst misfit and the opponents keep swinging away.

Sorry, 4 is deaf to the table action. I doubt my LHO has 13 minor cards but I'd bet he has 10. Why didn't he x? I don't know, maybe he didn't want to hear 3?

Pass is indicated but I would bet drool is coming out pard's mouth like Niagara Falls.

When RHO bids on in the face of this announced gigantic misfit what does that tell you?

Ok, if it is the club, I hear you, but if you were playing against an expert?

Josh there is a typo in your post. The exclamation point is to the right of the question mark. NP though.

Mark if RHO has something that resembles a 3 call doesn't this tell you our suits are breaking worse? This doesn't look like the right time to compete for the partial.

And 3 just can't make sense. If he's beating 2N with semi-solid hearts, why not pass?

Everyone makes mistakes. A pair I admire went for 2200 yesterday.

Hmm, that is good point about the breaks, and our diamond spots are pretty bad if LHO has 5+. So hard to pass with 67, but I think I am convinced it is right.
