if you play gazzilli, how do you bid this? please answer as completely as possible.

Rebid 2 forcing one round, showing clubs or 17+ hcp. Now partner bids:

2 showing a good hand. Rebid 2 showing 17+ and 3+; we are gf now.
2 showing an awful hand with 2 (usually). Pass is an option especially at mp, but we can also bid 2 to try for game (I play as 17-18 with 3 nf).
2 showing an awful hand with 6 (occasionally 5 if 0-1 ). I will raise to 3 keeping in mind that I would bid this way on Qxxxxx and out; would bid 4 if I played wjs.

Various bids showing 4/longer minor with a weak hand and short I will let partner sign off in his minor. Various bids showing GF of some type I will normally bid 3 next.

I am reluctantly forced into 3S, but I hate it - that shows 4-card support, "no exceptions," for me.

As for this...

1♥ should be the standard opening. to think about 1NT seems abstrus to me.

Well... if you anticipate the rebid problem over 1H-1S, that's a good reason why you SHOULD think about opening something other than 1H if it avoids that problem. (Yes, with my reg p we really would have opened 1NT - but I know that will be a small-minority treatment.)
