Message to whole club

Twice in the past few days, I've seen chat messages sent from players to "club". Both times, they were messages that were intended for one person, although they would commonly go to "table", like "good night, Mary". I wouldn't ever want to use it, but I've never seen an option to send a chat message to the entire club. Where'd that come from?
