It reminds me of Fluffy's thread a few months back where the referee in some indoor game disallowed a Spanish goal because he thought it hadn't gone in.

But at least in that case, and the offside call against the US today that disallowed a goal, I know what the referee thought he was calling. In the call in US against Slovenia I still don't know what was even called.

Oh well, the group is still won and we got a great draw for the round of 16 with the world's 32 ranked team. I don't have to be bitter, yay!
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.

So we won our group just to face England and the winner will face Argentina.
The USA and Uruguay are no easy contenders either, but I think becoming second had been better in our group.
Kind Regards

Roland

Not so funny. Current number 2 went home in coach after finishing last in their group.

At half time Slovaki are qualifying ahead of New Zealand and Italy.

Slovakia 1 Italy 0

New Zealand 0 Paraguay 0

Italy and New Zealand both need a goal to go through.

I give that dive by cannavaro a 4.4/10
i think he could have waved his arms some more, and possibly screamed louder.

Italy trail 2-0

they are looking to finish last in the group.

New Zealand need a goal to go through (and win the group).

are you sure? I watched several slowmotions, there was no one with the evidence that the ball was behind the line.

Italy 1 Slovakia 2

So a goal to Italy in the last ten minutes will see them go through unless NZ can score against Paraguay
