Group H is going to be very difficult. As Spain NEEDS to win both upcoming games, Chile better wins the next against Switzerland, but then they're all going to be tied with 6 points and the goals difference will pick the winners. Of course Honduras has to play along, not winning or tying any game.

Considering the results till now, all South American teams and Mexico shows a solid performance while many European "great football nations" seems to struggle.

He held the guys shirt but the Italian dived after he let go. I have seen players booked for that sort of dive.

There was another dive in midfield.

I think the Italians spent more time on the floor than actually playing.

Most players would go down when their shirts are pulled. The simple truth is that unless you fall, no referee will give a penalty, not even for the most reckless tackle. I think pulling his shirt like that is careless and against the rules and falling is obligatory.

I can't believe I am defending the Italian team, but I did not feel like they dived much this game. It seemed like they were trying to attack, as much as they are able to, they are not an über attacking team, but they tried to play relatively honestly.

Some of the better elbow work that match.
and the result can be plotted on a graph.

Mmmmm once the NZ players start learning to make a header without using their elbow you would earn the right to complain. (I think Rory Fallon was really lucky not to get sent off by a second yellow card.)

Also, it was a clear penalty IMO. And the NZ goal was both offside and helped by an offensive foul.
