Another very easy pass
X is a good way to play in a 4-2 club fit at the two level

Pass of course, where is the trick? :
Even if I had been able to bid 2 D after 2 Club from pd without showing extra strength (eqal level ....double), I would just pass.
I have a pd to protect me, if we have something to win in the bidding. And if we don`t then there is no need to show my opps my HCPs and Distribution.
Kind Regards
Roland

Ok I PASS this hand.
I have to admit that I have a mild urge to bid 2 DIAMONDS, but I would fight it off.

Pass is automatic, even opposite an unpassed partner. Opposite a passed partner it is even more clear cut; you don't have the values to make a game, your D suit is threadbare and you risk a big penalty. Anyway, are you that sure you want a D lead and who says your partner is going to be on lead?
Would bid 1NT (Raptor) with a 4th S.

I will pass. The suit quality and hand strength makes it dangerous to get doubled and go down. In all red, I would not risk doing such a gamble.

This is a pass. Despite adhering to many modern standards, i still maintain that double should have classic shape for minimal to intermediate takeout doubles and am very rigid in 2 level overcalls. This hand does not fit requirement of either overcall or double hence I pass.
As a corrolary to this, I expect heavy balancing and prebalancing action by my partner on marginal hands with proper shape.
