I played in a pairs tournament vs two successful Hungarian players. They played 2NT as 10-14 with 6+ and exactly 4. What system is this and has anyone heard of it?
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

aha! interesting! I think it was Hegedus playing with someone else if my memory doesn't fail me. Is this played anywhere else?

Hi:

They play a Big Club(Precision base) and relay in GF auctions.

I would guess that the 2NT* bid showing (21)-4=6 is because they ran out of space in their 2C auctions showing long clubs.

My 2C auctions can show 6 clubs and 4 major, however, the 6C and 4D hands are both rare and difficult to show. <_<

Regards,
Robert
