I'm not gonna lie when I read this my bid was 2S but now I see why that's wrong.
edit: And I didn't even understand why 655321 chose 6H until I read the results haha.
Thank you opponent, that bid helped

I'm not going to lie either I like Straube's approach of 4N best. It lets us reach a grand when its right. It may get us an Ace lead against 6 which can make our life easier.
The club suit could be a nagging problem, however, "where are the diamonds?" (pard has a few), and "why wasn't there a spade raise?" (ditto) - therefore I think its very unlikely partner has exactly xxx of clubs, so if we bid the grand I like my chances.
Seriously, what are the 6♥ bidders trying to gain?

a slam swing?
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

Overcalls must be pretty heavy in Iceland / Romania to come back in at the five level without a raise.

excuse me I mistakenly thought a 2♠ call by me was game forcing . I realize it is pointless though since partner cannot possibly hold <hand snipped> and consequently there is no point in looking for a GS
Another tunafish special.
The bridge element first. Obviously bidding 2♠ lets partner bid hearts (for example, with a minimum double containing 5 or more hearts), this will allow a spade lead through the King, and very likely 11 tricks in hearts is your maximum. Everyone else who posted understood this.
But suggesting bad bids doesn't make you Robinson Crusoe on the forums. Tuna, I don't understand why you post in the style that you do. What was wrong with saying "I think 2♠ is a better bid because you have a better chance of bidding the grand when it is right."? Instead, you make elaborate sarcastic posts, sometimes getting your meaning across, sometimes not, but in all cases making it a struggle to understand what you are trying to say.
I agree. There's too much sarcasm on these threads.

I didn't realise that if partner bids 5♥ the contract is not wrongsided anymore. But partner will very rarely bid 5♥ will be not so there's no real upside to 4NT either.
