1♠ (2♦) ? what better bid for South? double or pass, because for my system 3♣ is forzing.

Negative double. You'd like to get hearts into the picture with these good values and we don't mind a 2♠ response by partner as we have a doubleton support (he would bid it with 5233 hands, and some 53(23) will bid 2♥)

Unlike the neg double of a 1S overcall, this one probably has at least 4 of the unbid minor. (Yeh, yeh,..someone will show me JX AKXX XXXX QXX).

I don't think it even promises three of the unbid minor. Wouldn't you double with Jx KJxxx xxxx Kx?
... that would still not be conclusive proof, before someone wants to explain that to me as well as if I was a 5 year-old. - gwnn

Agreed. A key point here is the doubleton spade. Make the hand one spade and two diamonds, then I'm stuck. I pass.
