4. Many players will sit at a table make agreements and then disappear after between 0.5 and 3 boards, they want to kill time before their team game or tourney starts, can you prevent them from sitting if their game starts within half an hour or so? Also can you prevent them from accepting a team game or applying a tourney while playing or don't let them suddenly disappear? Maybe even prevent players from leaving their seat in the middle of a board in general.

Half an hour with the same opponents is a good result for the main bridge club. I don't know why you'd want to discourage that.

I do think that players who are signed up for a tournament shouldn't start a new hand within 5 minutes or so of their tournament starting.

I have never set up a team game, so maybe this option already exists, but perhaps there should be an option to start the team game X minutes after invites have been accepted or at a set time. This way, people who are playing when the invite is made would have time to properly excuse themselves rather than just disappearing.

She said half a board, not half an hour. 3 boards is only 10-15 minutes.

What if I don't mind if my opponents are joining a tournament soon or I'm aware of it, now the software won't even let us play?

The solution is a little clock counting down on each player that shows you they are signed up for a tournament and how soon it starts.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.

I think we stop people from sitting if they're scheduled for a T that starts in 10 mins or so, but we can't (dont) stop them from accepting TG invites or SUB invites while playing

People accepting team games and never mention this just disappear, this usually happens within the first few boards of playing, VERY often in board 1. I made notes on all the people I blacklisted, many notes say: left in board 1 for a tourney (or team game)

Half an hour is ok, np at all, the problem is players staying shorter and not mentioning they will leave soon.
