pretty bad :) As far as a cure...well I have my tantō back from the sharpeners, guaranteed to eliminate all your problems :)

BTW why not 2NT over 1♣. Doesnt' that show this hand?

2NT first round. I need some cards always for these 2 suited calls but when I'm favourable "some cards always" is open to interpretation.

I don't know if there is a cure but please tell me if you find something. :)

I wish I had a way to show the two lowest unbid suits in one bid at the first go so I wouldn't feel guilty about passing later on.

Ya especially favorable you have to get both suits into the picture early when you can.

in some partnerships this suit qualities wouldn't be enough for 2NT and I'd bid 1♥, but that's the same reason where I'd pass later.

I usually don't have a way to show the two lowest unbid suits in one bid at the first go - I prefer to be able to show KJxxx Kx 987xxx void, and live with the guilt when I've got the red suits.
... that would still not be conclusive proof, before someone wants to explain that to me as well as if I was a 5 year-old. - gwnn

I recommend ghestem in that case, it seems like it solves all these problems with no downside at all.

Meh I think overcalling 1H is ok, but lol at bidding now. Some people just refuse to defend.

Isn't this the single most forgotten convention ever? That would be a downside.

The counter measure is easy - show your suits at once.

And if you want to compete, bid 4NT - this would show a 2-suiter,
with a undisclosed higher ranking suit, which is shorter.
But since you overcalled the higest ranking missing suit - you will
have a 2-suiter with a longer lower ranking suit, if you bid this
undiscussed, you need to assume to have a p on the same page
with you.
