1 - 2NT
4 - 4
5 - 5
5

1S = Standard 5 card major
2NT = forcing major raise
4D = 5 carder suit. Could be min hand
4H = control showing, either first round or second round
5C = club control, first or second
5D = diamond control, could be Queen but not shortness

I guess at this point of time, 6C should show club void and deny a heart control. 5H shows heart control.

I am wondering what 5S means? Is it "I have nothing else" or does it make sense for 5S to ask for trump quality here?

What should 5NT be and what should a jump to 6S show?

No control. Unless responder can't bid 4 with just the K.

5NT = good trumps

6 = attempt to sign off
OK

5S just shows a minimum which was too good to sign off in 4S, something like AQxxx xx AKxxx x.

I agree. "I'm done now. Your call."
"Gibberish in, gibberish out. A trial judge, three sets of lawyers, and now three appellate judges cannot agree on what this law means. And we ask police officers, prosecutors, defense lawyers, and citizens to enforce or abide by it? The legislature continues to write unreadable statutes. Gibberish should not be enforced as law."

I suspect most experts would use 5 as "last train", leaving 5 as the signoff.
