Scoring: IMP

Opps silent
1 - 1
3 - 4
4NT - 5
6

1) Opening Lead: 5

2) Opening Lead: Q

[ Perhaps these are a "WTP" but only 6 pairs ( of 21 ) reached 6 and 3 made;
9 pairs reached 4 and only 2 made 12 tricks ] .

i thought about the 5 lead a little bit. i didn't think it could be made double dummy... i then threw it at gib. it seems to agree with me.

I think you and GIB are right.
Many who made 12 tricks on a lead won the Ace and led back the Q, and when East didn't cover, a first losing was pitched.
   However, if East covers the Q, all is lost for Declarer.
