anyway what do you think of 4♥ instead of 4♠?

I have 7 of them, I have KQ in partners suit, I wont give up.

I would like to convince myself, that 4S showes spade tolerance,
but this is wishful thinking.

4H is at best a 4-4 fit, and we will run in a bad trump break,
since 3D has to show 3diamonds and a unspecified 4 card
major.

If game has no chance at all, they will find it harder to make a
penalty double of 4S.

Hate 4♥, bad 4 card suit instead of 7 card suit, we will just play hearts too often even though it's possible we belong there. Remember after our 3♠ bid partner could have bid 4♥ if he wanted to, certainly if he was 4-6 he would have, so the odds we belong in hearts anyway are low.

I'll take my shot at 4♠ also. I like 7 card suits and the fitting ♣ marriage.

Perhaps the opps will "save" in 5♦ when we aren't making 4♠
