The economy needs to be a well-oiled machine......ugh!.... did I really just write that????

Not to mention the quick profit-taking on the foreign exchange markets as the price of gold went for a ride.....hey! just like we are being taken for one... :)

We all knew a run on the dollar was really the big issue for the last 12 months. :)


If there is a run this is really bad news.

At this point I will go out on a limb and say no run, yet.


btw...Yes I own stuff that will go up if the buck goes down but I hope for no run.

I'm not so sure most have much grasp of what it would mean if the world abandoned the dollar as the reserve currency. You have to be a little bit wonky to be interested in such stuff.
