1NT by pard would be strong balanced. Not a nice agreement but there you are.

Easy Pass. My hand is pretty worthless and I've already told partner I have a few things by 3. Are we supposed to double and 'hope' for a close 1 off? It feels like the opponents will making 11 tricks far more often than we are taking this off. LHO can easily have 6 and an unbalanced hand or whatever.

In Gerben's analysis of the Bermuda Bowl systems, almost every pair is playing this unpleasant method.

Indeed, why would you think at all now? You have done your all -- and now save the brain cells for looking at the opening lead and dummy, then figuring out how to cooperate with the defense, if there is any.

Have I shown a hand or a heap with 3 ?

A lot of pairs (any I play in included) would use Lebensohl in this seat over 2. If you've shown a good hand, then pass is very clear unless your agreements suggest that partner's pass was forcing, if you've shown a pile, you might be more inclined to double although I'd probably still pass.

Leben? I guess good/bad 2NT, a relative of Leben, could be used here. But it is a pretty thin distinction on this type of auction. With everyone at the table bidding, you have bid what you have in response to the takeout --u could have passed, you could have bid more diamonds, but you chose the bid most closely fitting your hand. As others have said, your participation is over with.
