The site seems to be down. It also looks like it's hosted on yahoo, so either yahoo's having a problem, or Carl forgot to pay the bill. I don't recall seeing him here, but I have seen him on rec.games.bridge. You might check there and see if he's posted, or post your query there.

That was the ACBL Used Book sale which was hosted on my website. It was supposed to be temporary and ran much longer than anticipated. It is no longer in operation.
This concept might be revived in the future, probably with a new host, as I am becoming less capable of handling it.

I found a number of books on Carls site including 100 old Bridge Worlds for $1
Thanks for the great service Carl, sorry to see it go.

That's just too wierd. Using IE8 on Vista I have my settings set always to prompt before saving cookies. I clicked on this thread and was prompted would I like to save a cookie from carlritner.com (or something similar - forget the precise wording). That must be some impressive kind of spyware I have.

The site was always hosted on Yahoo. When I no longer needed the website, I kept the
email address, and so Yahoo has that "marker page" since nobody else can use the
name.
I'm glad we were able to transfer so many books to new homes.
