2nt also for me. Bergen's book recommends against 2nt with a dead min, but I am not rebidding this type of ♦ suit. Can't stomach a pass even at MP vs red opps, and don't care for 2♥ when 2NT seems a better description of my hand.

Pass is to much of a gamble, especially as I'd much better like my opponents to lead into a tenace rather than partner.

If 2NT is an option, then that is my choice.

I really don't like 2N...if partner has a minimum, say, 4=4=3=2, where on earth are our tricks coming from? LHO will certainly have entries and rates to hold 6 clubs, so 2N looks very wrong... I choose 2♦ since I want to slow this auction down..... 2♥ will fetch a raise on fewer values than would be needed to invite after a 2♦ rebid.... since partner will assume we have a fit and a 10 trick game may be in sight.

2♦ 100, 2♥ 80 2N 50 P 10 (since I am being generous)

2♦ lead directing 2NT takes too much space and shows some extra in my book . For all I know , partner's plan may be to rebid 2♥ or 2♠ and I will be happy to pass (I assume we do not play NFB)

I hope in future days you can find a chance to ask about my personality to a famous bridge player in your country. He is DAN ZARA. Lives in Bucarest. We did online partnership with him on OKBridge. Never lived any small confliction.

We never asked any payback. The sole and first condition was simple : FOLLOW ETHICS! You represent a nation. You have no right to debate! You know my country players caught a nice trend in last 3 years in. So we are Ok with polite and humble company.

You may disagree about my words. My fair offer is let's stay away by our posts. I never showed any negative trait whenever you started a topic.
