To say I have strong feelings that 4H is the right bid would be a huge understatement. You absolutely 1000 % must bid 4H with this hand.

I also believe bidding 4♥ is clear. It's also clear that it may not work out, but that doesn't make it the wrong decision.

4♥. Both bidding and passing might be dangerous. But bidding is rather obvious IMO.

he had ATx, Kxxx Kxx Kxx. Guess it was based on 4 trump, controls in all suits, and a likely tap suit. Unfortunately for him, partner was (edited) Qx T AQxxx AQxxx right behind him.
