How can you not double now?

I'm not convinced I would have passed over 2h, but it seems to have worked out very well.

Is my pass forcing? Is my double take-out? I'm not very familiar with this situation.

There is no standard as far as my bridge discussions about this have gone. I like to play that pass is forcing in general after we have penalty passed after partner's takeout double, but it's easy to see how that might be bad on some hands.

Whether pass is forcing, depends on agreement. I wouldn't expect anything to be "standard".

If the pass is forcing, double is penalty.
If non-forcing, I would prefer double to be takeout.

Dbl is imo penalty, since we're in a penalty situation after passing 2 doubled.

I'd double and lead K.

I am doubling, and the lead of the diamond K is mandatory...I only hope that we have the time and communication to pull trump asap... if lho is 4=0=5=4 and rho 1=6=4=3, we need to do well to get the 1400 we may need some luck to avoid a significant loss against our putative slam (on a good day, the opps fail in a grand at the other table).

OTOH, if lho is 4=0=4=5 and rho 2=6=3=2, this could be a huge gain for us :)

I have never pulled a SOS redouble of partner's weak two... I think it is an appalling call.

It's not uncommon if the weak 2 could be 5 cards on a regular basis. The situation is similar to SOS redouble on a situation like this:

1M pass pass dbl
pass pass redbl

Of course, if the weak 2 is always 6 cards, then redoubling is silly.

Pass has to be forcing LOL. Should I double to stop pard from doing something stupid?

Its the midnights, so yeah I double. Partner has had too many apple juices (wait thats my LHO).

Obvious lead of the K.

I thought this was an interesting problem that my opponent faced if my dad pulled the Redouble to 3... The was the opposition's hand on the "Justice is served" of course (No, we didn't have 2 of these auctions!). Maybe this didn't belong in A/E, but I just thought that most people don't have agreements, so I would definitely need this in the A/E to get good answers probably. And yes, this is an obvious K lead.

Pass being forcing is terrible. Do you all not pass with AQT9x and out or something? Neither person has shown much at all in the way of values, it is silly to be forced.

that's becaue you don't often play with me .

Now seriously, sometimes there is some table feeling, my partner once pulled my 4 spade overcall with singleton, later he explained that he saw a mixture of blood, brightness and $$ in RHO's eyes when she doubled. She had 6 spades.
