6 of Spades.

I think the 6 is better than the 10 , when LHO is likely to have shortage (doubleton or singleton) , and RHO is likely to have Spade length , possibly 4.

6 seems pretty obvious to me

T
That's impossible. No one can give more than one hundred percent. By definition that is the most anyone can give.

Was 1 alerted ("2 cards possible")? If yes, the low spade is an action most will take.

If opps are playing a "natural" bidding system, LHO has 5-4 in minors (more people open 1 with 4-4). In such a case, I may choose a low heart (reasoning that partner is more likely to have longer hearts than spades).

But mostly, I think I will "go with the flow" and open with 6.

Might even be a nescesary unblock.

I did lead 6 and partner took his A after which blocked.
Partner said I should lead T with this.

T or 9, depending on whether you play journalist leads or not.

Since you lead your 4th highest, partner could've ducked his A...

EDIT: never mind zzz :P

On the actual hand it doesn't seem to matter because 3NT can't make even if the spades block.

He could duck the first round to declarer's Jack. Then on the next round he could put the Ace on the King and (for some reason!) the suit would still be blocked...

I hope you do not laugh to a tragedy. Seems unusual hand evaluation methods improved.

I lead the 10. Is there any other logical action?
