Overheard at the New York Auto Show: John Krafcik
By JAMES G. COBB

Yesterday I accidentally insulted opps, and since I thought it is the hight of ethics to call the director on your own infractions, I shouted: Director, I am insulting the opponents!

Then one of the opponents said that it was condoned because I just said he was stupid which was a fact. The other opp shouted "Helene, stop seeking attention!"

What would you rule?

i got kicked out from a bbo tourney because i said to my p 'sorry, I'm a moron' and was accidentally sent to the tourney chat. my p and opps jumped to my defence saying my decisions were indeed quite moronic, but the TD accepted none of that

This sounds like constructive criticism to me. The ability to give and receive constructive criticism is incredibly useful imo -- in life and in bridge -- and therefore off-topic in this thread.

And here we see another example of the stupidity of "zero tolerance".

A leader to bank on?

Jamie Dimon knows the bank business. He's boring too.

That is a topic so absurd that it doesn't even warrant discussion in this thread! ;)

Experts make the most mistakes because when intermediates make mistakes they are actually making their normal plays.

(That probably didn't make any sense. I'm so drunk!)

"Everything that guy over there just said is bulls%*$. Thank you."

-Joe Pesci as Vincent Laguardia Gambini in "My Cousin Vinny."

Hope that's random enough.
