What is the panel's feeling by playing System On after a take-out Double?
For instance 1NT still forcing, 1M - Dble - 2M still constructive etc.
If you feel uncomfortable using the above, you can just pass and come in later.
The Re-Double you can define to have a specific meaning whatever you prefer (example Rosenkranz after a major suit opening etc.)
Or,
Is it preferable to design a new system of responses after a take-out double?
I feel more comfortable to play System On after a take-out double because there are no impact on your responses. In other words just ignore the take-out double. In this instance there is probably less a chance of a misunderstanding afterwards.
The reason I am asking is because I have seen some world class players playing on BBO and running sometimes into difficulties not playing System On after a take-out double.
I will appreciate the feeling of the panel about this statement.
Also reasoning playing a certain way will also be appreciated.
Regards

System on is horrible, you need to be able to bid your suits in competition.
The easiest way to count losers is to line up the people who talk about loser count, and count them. -Kieran Dyke

System on has one advantage: You need less memory. This is a big advantage.
But the disadvantages are much bigger. Arend named the biggest: You should get your suits in non forcing asap.
So system off is it.

System off.
New suit at the 2 level are NF, even if you play a 2 over 1 after
a 1 level overcall as forcing.
They promised opening strength, so the frequence of non forcing
hans go up.
Quite a lot of expert players switch to transfer responses after a
t/o.
With kind regards

Forcing No Trump is horrible without the double why would you want to use it after a double.

It depends on the system. In partnerships where I play Bergen raises, I play them on over a double. If anything, I think the double improves their usefulness; responder is less likely to want to make a natural jump-shift (weak or strong) in a suit the doubler has ostensibly shown, and RHO is more likely to come in at a lower level.

Transfers after the X are definitely preferable - it allows you to describe most hands better at the slight cost of not having a natural 1NT response

Agree effervesce, xfers allow me to show 'help' suit and delayed raise(xfer there, then support). Immediate 'good DT' raise(xfer to our suit). Weak distr raise(immediate raise/jump raise). 'Mixed' raise(X then support). AND start search if no fit.
