Sure, we could easily go for a number, but it is also reasonably likely that there is a double game swing (or that we can make 4S, or that they can make 4H, or that 3S is the par spot....).

As han said, the chances that there will be a double game swing on this hand are quite high.
A better question might be this: If the auction went 3♥ - P - 4♥ to you, do you bid 4♠? I would.
