I find it a bit more easier to read if I was told which seat I'm in so I don't have to look at what the final bid is/who bid it first/if there are 4 passes per line and then start going through the auction.

I would lead a heart - seems the most attractive. 2nd choice a spade.

I'd have bid 1 and I think it's clear to do so. After a different action by RHO I'd have competed with 2, so I easily have enough to bid them at the one level, notwithstanding the proclaimed 4-x break.
... that would still not be conclusive proof, before someone wants to explain that to me as well as if I was a 5 year-old. - gwnn
