I suspect that the worst bid is 7NT

I lean towards pass, planning to convert a reopening double
Double is also a reasonable choice

I pass, I prefer 2NT over double as I don't want to be guessing over 3m. Make us unfavorable and I would prefer 2NT over pass.
Please note: I am interested in boring, bog standard, 2/1.

At this vul, I'm going for penalties and passing. If they were non-vul and us vul, I'd bid 3NT (we play 2NT here as 4+ spades limit+ raise).

Playing standard, reasonable bids are pass, 2NT (nat, inv), 3NT, X.

I suppose you bid a minor suit, which partner raised, bypassing 3NT? Or you bid 3, which partner took as a spade raise, ending up in a 5-1 fit?

Dangerous to pass here, but given the vulnerability, not too dangerous.

Who knows, they might go -4 undoubled for a push!

Double isn't so bad? You will live if p bids 2S, happy in 3 of a minor, and can bid 3NT over p's 3H. If they bid 3H you are quite happy for them to play there doubled. If you pass p may pass too (although I guess he isn't allowed to with short hearts).

X.

With kind regards
Marlowe

PS: Given the vulnerability Pass is certainly a reaonable option.
The meaning of 2NT is partnership depend, some play it as
good-bad / lebensohl, some as scrambling.
With kind regards
