Scoring: IMP

1-(1)-4-(4)
4NT-p-5-p
5-p-6-p
p-X-p-p
XX-end
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

Through 4 spades seems like nothing to explain

4NT: Key card
5 clubs: No aces, partner
5 hearts: OK, hope we make it
6 hearts: Sh*t, forgot about the king of hearts.
X: yeah, this is crap
XX: My partner just showed 3 key cards (Really, what were they thinking with a direct 4 hearts bid with 3 key cards? Crazy partner, but at least we got to slam anyway), and they think they're setting us? Christmas.

Or something similar. Was the AQ offside?

not the best auction ever. Certainly a few bad bids.

1H- natural 1H opener
4H- weak with 5 card support
4NT- don't like it, but assumably RKCB done due to the 4 LTC and partner is almost certainly removing at least 1 in trumps.
5C- no key cards
5H- sign off
6H- awful, but I guess it means "I forgot my K and I have a sixth heart".
XX- Well, I do have a spade void and opps are bidding spades?

I wouldn't mind knowing the result (the whole contract seems to depend on either hearts being 1-1 or 2-0 onside).

The bidding seems ok up to 5, if RKCB 41 30 is agreed.
6 is terribly wrong, XX is unneccesary.

I like the redouble. When you're sure you're not -2, XX is almost always odds-on not vuln.

4NT was the worst bid of the sequence.
Two wrongs don't make a right, but three lefts do!

OK I'm the biggest noob ever, the actual hand was:

Scoring: IMP

... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.
