Ok nothing wrong. Close to a pass but I wouldn't have called a pass wrong either.
In part it depends on what exactly partner will pass 2♣ rather than double. In my partnership we double fairly freely with useful cards independent of major suit length so competing is less clear.

Don't understand the passers, the opponents are both passed hands and seem to have found a major suit fit. Are we going to let them play there at the 2-level when we have such a good suit?
Also don't understand why the kings are bad, it seems to me that the heart king is likely good and the club king is likely bad although my opponents have been known to bid suits when they don't have the ace. If you mean that the kings are more defensive than offensive then I'd agree, though it seems an example of doom thinking.
Selling out to 2H is weird.

seems normal, I may rethink the soundness of
my 3D bid after I hear a double, but than it is
too late.
A possible alternative alternative too 1D is
a 3D opening, but this would certainly not a
mainstream thing to do.

Because the correct syntax appears to be an opening tag of [ SIZE=x ], and the closing tag is just [ /SIZE ]. (remove the spaces inside the [].)

Me too...I open 1♦ with the intention of rebidding 3♦ although I certainly don't mind a 2NT rebid.
