1N in all positions for me but I think its obvious in 4th.

This is what the hand actually looked like. Small was the opening lead from Jxxx, and the Q was onside for +620 (and a nice chunk of IMPs our way when the diamond partscore did not produce 620 at the other table). But I didn't know if I was being results oriented, so thanks again.

The auction really should get to 4 after P-1-1-3-3-4 also. But it does play a bit better from the strong hand.

1NT or 1 seem pretty much the same to me. Probably 1NT will shut out opps more easily. The only flaw I see is pard tranferring to spades and leave us in the 5-2 fit when a 6-3 one was available :)

There should be no way to miss game with these particular hands anyway. But I agree that this is a clear cut 1 NT bid if you play 1 NT as 15-17. All the honours in the short suits say: Please declare NT from YOUR hand.
