3C has a fairly wide range since 2C has a huge range, but in general I would think of this as about 8+-11.
Often you will take false preference even with a real club fit in order to keep the auction alive and not sound too encouraging, and often with a 10 or 11 count and a diamond stopper you will try 2N instead of raising clubs so that partner knows you have a "real" hand and not a courtesy hand, and often with 11 and 5 clubs you will just overbid and game force.

Yeah, this is just about what I'd expect too.

Hi,
3C is invitational.
Depening on how many clubs 2C showed,
it may promise a 5 carder.
And if 3C does show a 5 carder, than 3C
is limited by responders failure to bid 2C
the round before.
I am going to ignore 5-5 in the black suits.
although I would suspect, responder would
use 4th suit forcing to set up a game force
and ask for 3 spades.
With kind regards
